Which sound snippets are not yet taken? - Soundsnippets and textfiles for download

Do you wish to help making transcripts available from the latest updated Creation Seminars of Dr. Hovind? Any help that I receive will be more than appreciated. This project is my own origination, however it is an entirely idealistic one! I earn no monies of any kind for these transcribing and coordination efforts. At such time that a transcript for a seminar has reached agreeable quality I will send it to Eric Hovind.

Why am I doing this? I simply find it important that these seminars are available in transcript form. This way it can easily work as a database of information that is easily accessible and for all it will be searchable.

The way I go about it is to make soundsnippets available of each 9 minutes long. So, you don't have to feel forced to take on a whole seminar 2 or 3 hours long. Just take this 9 minute snippet (more snippets if you wish). If many hands help we can all do a part and put together high quality transcripts in a very short time.

I will probably end up doing most of the work, thus far I have finished transcribing seminar 1.

    Phase one   (help wanted)
Transcribe spoken word to text.
a)  As Dr. Hovind speaks very fast you may wish to play parts of the soundfile at a lower speed. The program Windows Media Player is a freely distributed program that allows you to do this (as much as half speed). Download here (you need to have at least version 9). When you have installed the program and are ready to play the soundfile you can configure the playing speed when you go here: View / Enhancements / Play Speed Settings.
b)  I did run an automatic transcribing program, this however does not give perfect quality (this technique is still in it's infancy). Either way I did make them available in my textfiles. You may either make use of these or transcribe from scratch if you find that easier.
c)  Please indicate all words or parts that are uncertain in red text. (use the button I created in the textfiles)

    Phase two   (help wanted)
Verify and correct the transcript and fill in all blanks.
a)  Please mark all words or parts that you have rectified in purple text. (use the button I created in the textfiles)

    Phase three
Dividing up the text in chapters, and sections and give appropriate headings. Consecutively adding the illustrations that come with these seminars. This will be entirely my job.

Soundsnippets:  The soundsnippets (9 minutes) are converted from the original DVD's and are in mp3 format.
The files you wish to download to your harddrive, you have to right click them and then choose option Save link as.

Textfiles:  The textfiles that I use are made with Microsoft Word (.doc). To facilitate matters I created various buttons. You need to activate macro's to be able to use them. When you open the textfile you may be prompted for this. If you do not wish to be prompted every time you open the textfile go in the program to Tools / Macro / Security, check box: Low (you can always change this back later). These macro's do nothing else than that I designed them to do. All the files you download from my site contain guaranteed no viruses or any secret scripts!
The various transcribed pieces are numbered in the textfiles, and thus they match the soundsnippets.

If you wish to transcribe a snippet (or set of snippets) you may want to let me know before you start (email). Just so that not 2 persons are working on the same snippet. This information will be reflected on the below tables.
